In our generation, technology has become a big part of our daily lives, and we might have become addicted to it. When you walk down the streets, all you see is new high-tech items like smartphones, electronic watches, or even a hoverboard. In your local coffee shop you rarely see a person with a book; however, one book series are still in the hand of all age groups today. These- must- read books are the Harry Potter series. It all began with the first novel, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. Written by the talented J. K. Rowling in 1997, her first book won the Nestlé Smarties Book Prize, which is a prize given to British Children Books that ran from 1985 to 2007. Her first book sold 107 million worldwide, making the book in the hands of every child.
