He takes on this adventurous journey with his friends Hermione Granger a muggle/wizard and Ron Weasley a red haired troublemaker. In this adventure book Harry is going into his 3rd year at Hogwarts. (Wish I could have a million owls telling me I’m expected to go to Hogwarts.) During his year before and present he has a lot to take in, like how Sirius Black is his Godfather and that his mum and father died because Peter Pettigrew Ron’s supposedly “Scabbers”. Plot Twist! Ever wondered how they got the Quidditch Field looking so realistic, or how they made Professor Mcconnell's Chess set looking so grand, let's talk about that. First let's start off with the classes. In the movies you can probably see that the classrooms are very small, and there is actually a theory about that. So most of you know like a muggle school there are grades but at Hogwarts we call them years like first years, second years and so on but Harry class/year has a lot less students. Well I’m pretty sure we all know who Lord Voldemort is (Tom Marvolo Riddle) he is the king of the death eaters who will basically kill everyone who gets in their way. Elaborating more on this theory, a lot of his generation was slayed by Lord Voldemort and the Death Eaters, due all these deaths there are a lot less people in the wizarding world, well in Harry's generation. Let's get back to the book, this book also mentions a few little things that were cut out or not mentioned in the movies. In the book it tells how Hogsmeade wasn't really the size of a of a small cottage with little houses everywhere, those little scenes with an overview of cottages were just models with powder sprinkled above. Disappointment. It also says that “Flourish and Blotts was a remodeled version of Ollivanders Wand Shop”, I guess if you saw the process they are a bit similar. I just find it so fascinating how, they made …show more content…
James, Peter, and Black actually learned how to be an Animagi, they learned how because another one of their close friend's, Professor Lupin once a month transformed into a werewolf. They learned how to also turn into an Animagi to accompany Lupin every time he transformed. It also mentioned what some of them transformed into, Minerva turned into a Gray Tabby Cat, Peter transformed or has been a rat, which was actually “Scabbers”, and Sirius Black turns into a black dog. Speaking of what they transform into, during the movies to make all the magic happen they used a mixture of animatronics and real animals they did use a real cat, it already had the “spectacle markings” so no animatronics were used this time. Moving onto Peter Pettigrew since he is actually Scabbers his transformation was a bit more detailed than the others, during his transformation he would have large rat like teeth, short stubby arms and long rat type nails. The makeup artist also had to put on a powder that gave him a tingy orange look. Unlike Professor Mcgonagall’s transformation this time we had to use a mixture of a rat and an animatronic. We had 1 animatronic and our one rat Dex, during the movie Dex was for when was holding “Scabbers in the Shrieking Shack during “The Prisoner of Azkaban”

The “Hero’s Journey” is a popular theory among many films and stories. This theory includes a pattern of the main character, or the hero, living in an ordinary world and is called into a new, more exciting life. In their journey, they meet many characters that play archetypal roles. These roles include the hero, the side kick, the wise-old man, the friendly beast, the evil figure, the damsel in distress, and many more. One movie that would qualify as a “Hero’s Journey” movie would be, “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” because Harry starts his new life once he steps into a new world.…

Hogwarts was Harry Potter’s Delusion: There is a theory that Harry Potter’s wonderful idealistic adventures in Hogwarts were a delusion he created for himself in reaction to the Verbal and Physical abuse. For starters, Harry's magic fantasies begin when, in real life, he's about to begin school at Stonewall High, being separated from his abusive cousin for the first time. It's a new school, a new environment, and therefore the perfect time to begin his delusions. First creation: Hagrid. Hagrid is so obviously a projection of Harry's impression of his Uncle Vernon, the only father figure in his life.…
