Dear J.K.Rowling, I’ve finally read your entire award winning series, Harry Potter and I’m left with a few questions, particularly about the 4th book “The Goblet Of Fire.” It would be great if you answered as these questions will help give me a deeper understanding of the book.

Firstly I’d like to ask why you chose to make Cedric die? As I and a lot of other people loved him as a character and I’m sure many people would agree with me. I know you wanted to show that Voldemort was back, at least for the readers, but you didn’t have to kill him, at least not yet. This will help me comprehend with the text as Cedric could’ve been more important in other stories as he helped Harry a lot through the story and I’m sure that could’ve been replicated
