What’s the difference between a muggle and a wizard parent: Going into Hogwarts with a wizard parent being raised into wizardry, but think about how a wizard feels when they have “muggle” parents? A muggle is a person who lacks any sort of magical ability and was not born into the magical world (Muggle). In Harry Potter Hermione comes from of family of muggles, but she continues on her way to Hogwarts, also, another wizard, Ron, comes from a family of wizards who think that wizard is the way of life. Even Harry comes from a wizard family, but was raised by his muggle aunt and uncle when his parents were killed by the evil power. Despite growing up in a muggle or wizard household, all students are accepted into Hogwarts no matter their family back ground which could affect the way the student feels about the wizard life. She was very good at what she did; wizardry, but she didn’t always have the support from her family (Hermione). Her family had to change their lifestyles to be able to put Hermione through Hogwarts. Her parents’ dreams, just like every muggle parents, were for their child to be a doctor or dentist, but having to hear their daughter say she wanted to study magic, wasn’t normal. Her parents always knew she was different because strange things would happen during her childhood. Throughout the years for Hermione attending Hogwarts, her parents had to adapt to their daughters other lifestyle. Several years later, however, Hermione was forced to alter her parents' memories and give them new identities as Wendell and Monica Wilkins, to protect them from the Death Eaters (Hermione).
