Rowling’s famous protagonist “Harry Potter” exemplifies how characters develop throughout plots. However In Rowling 's “Philosopher’s Stone” Harry was definitely unsure of his surroundings; as expected of any new student at school, but unlike Green’s and Hesse’s protagonists, Harry has much more to prove. The death of Harry’s parents is the spark that shapes the entire narrative of Rowling’s stories along with the development of Harry’s character. The absence of his parents distinguishes Harry from the rest of his peers because he has endured a loss that none of them can understand, and this sense of isolation and martyrdom becomes crucial in the novels to come. Rowling’s emphasize on the importance of choice in determining an individuals character and direction in life is the choice that establishes what kind of person Harry will become.…

I believe that Harry Potter’s series are ever poplau, because it's a series that is full of excite ,adventure, and mystery. The series is not that bad for me, because I the beginning I didn’t who was Harry Potter and what was the book going to be about until I known who was and all his friends. That when I started get to know who was, its pretty good to read and it is like adventure type of this book. I have only read a little bit of the first Harry Potter book, but I didn’t get to finish the whole book ,due for me never liking Mysteries books that are fairy tales. Three Times the Tasks Means Three Times the Trauma Trauma seems to be the name of the game when it comes to J.K. Rowling’s series on the life of young Harry Potter. He suffers greatly by having his parents killed, is forced to live with abusive extended family, and then is literally shoved into a world of magic in which he is forced to learn quite quickly that luck is never quite on his side. Ms. Rowling’s fourth chapter of Harry’s life, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, proves no different as he is required to endure yet another traumatic year in a whole new way. While normally Harry is the main focus of the trauma in these stories, Rowling proves that she is more knowledgeable about the effects of trauma as a group than could have ever been shown by the main three characters—Harry, Ron, and Hermione.…

Harry Potter is a scrawny, messy-haired boy with a lightning bolt scar on his forehead. He’s a bit prideful, but has a gracious heart & pure intentions. He’s very passionate, though his actions occasionally point to impulsive. Many heros are inherently perfect; I think he isn’t perfect at all despite how the other characters regard him. He isn’t overly intelligent -as his grades are average and he doesn’t try very hard to improve them- or physically brawny, as many of his clothes are baggy.…

Ordinary World Harry Potter’s ordinary world is his home of number four Privet Drive with the Dursleys. When he crosses the threshold into the wizarding world, the contrasts between the two realms are drastic. “It’s a good idea for writers to make the Ordinary World as different as possible from the Special World, so audience and hero will experience a dramatic change when the threshold is finally crossed”, and it is (Vogler 87). Privet Drive was a dull and miserable existence for Harry. He was without friends, was shown no love, was given little to eat, and he experienced very little happiness throughout his time there.…
