Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Conflicts

“All was well.” (Rowling, 759) is how the Harry Potter series comes to an end. While the adventure may have ended happily, most of the series was full with dark, heinous plots and themes. Much of The Deathly Hallows focuses on the theme of good and evil, a theme which, more often than not, can allude to the good vs. evil theme strewn throughout The Bible. While the conflict between Harry and Voldemort allude to the one of the most famous conflicts in the Bible- Jesus vs. Satan, there are many other conflicts that can be alluded to other biblical rivalries. Another famous biblical conflict is Cain and Abel, which can be connected to the conflict between Nymphadora Tonks and Bellatrix Lestrange. In J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, there are many conflicts that can allude to conflicts in The Bible. One such conflict is the conflict between Tonks and Bellatrix, which can be alluded to the conflict between Cain and Abel. Nymphadora Tonks and Bellatrix Lestrange are two witches on opposite sides of the battle. Tonks is a part of the Order of the Phoenix, the “good” side, and Bellatrix is a part of the Death Eaters, the “evil” side.
