Harriet Tubman's Leadership

There are many great leaders that are wondering in the world, and many of them share the characteristics of a great leader like Harriet Tubman. Therefore, the traits Harriet obtains show the best way anyone could express them, and she will always be a leader from the past of her duties of being a leader. Harriet is skilled in a special way with how she leads others, she has many qualities to her character that brings out copious skills. Although, Harriet Tubman had some people that envy her for all the skills she obtains, but the one characteristic she really manifested was dedication. Uniquely, Harriet gave the right impression of dedication, she truly conveyed this trait and brought meaning to it ecspecially to the many lives she saved. In the article, "The Railroad Runs to Canada" Ann Petry declares about how Harriet was determined to be free, and not only gain her own freedom, but the lives of multiple slaves. Petry describes how Harriet longed for a good life, and the way she wanted to make a life changing event, to make a purpose for her life and others. In fact, Harriet was the answer to many problems in those slaves lives, she brought hope to each of thier lives. Petry describes how Harriet used her skilled in the ways of leadership to over come challenges in coming her way. Surely, Harriet and the slaves had to face starvation, at one point the former slaves said they couldn’t do it anymore, she was dedicated to get them what they needed. At that point harriet was so determined that she promised the eleven that she would absolutely get them somewhere safe and warm. Even keeping the promise that food would come their way. Eventually, as harriet was leading the group of slaves may started to give up on the decision they had made to go with harriet. Additionally, many tried to turn and go back, but harriet wouldn’t let them, she kept them going with every ounce of her being. One slave says, “Let me go back. Let me go back.” (Petry). Instantly, Harriet responded back in a agressive way, but she knew if this one slave would leave then it would ruin it for everyone. Without the way she approached how the slave felt then most of them wouldn’t have made it as far they did. Harriets dedication to become free with the slaves she rescued unquestionably saved their lives. Harriet Tubman dedicated her life to numerous lives for the feeling of
