Harriet Tubman was a big part in the antislavery movement and several other things. She was a big part because she was one of the conductors of the underground railroad. This lady not only escaped but she came back for many other fugitives knowing what would happen if she got caught. Knowing myself, I would never be able to complete this but this brave women did. Harriet Tubman was a very determined women, for example in the book on pg.534 it says, ''Tubman courageously made 19 trips back into the South during the 1850s to help other enslaved people escape'', this meaning that she was a determined lady who completed her mission.
