I've always been interested in this topic to make a stand because i myself like standing up of myself and others in a positive way. When I heard about the theme this year was leadership and taking a stand in history. My partner and I brainstormed possible topics and the one I liked the most was Harriet Tubman because i look up for her and her actions. I decided to research Harriet Tubman because she fought for civil rights.
When I first started my research, i wasn't too sure where to look and what to look for. Then I started questioning myself what, when, why, and how. Also I will write what I already knew about Harriet Tubman. Then I knew what answers I should look for by the questions and what i already knew. My best secondary source was
