Harriet Tubman Perseverance

Harriet Tubman is being honored with an award for her bravery. She showed her bravery in the Civil War and when she helped with The Underground Railroad. Harriet showed that she was very brave when she was a spy for the Union in the Civil War. Before she was a spy for the Union she was a slave who escaped. Then she came back to where her family was and helped them escape. She was also known as the best “conductor” of the Underground Railroad. When she helped her family escape she realized that she could help other slaves get out. She helped save over a hundred slaves from their masters. She took all of them North so they could be free. She was an amazing person who made it in history as the best Underground Railroad conductor. She was awesome at her job and the best part is that she never got caught. People nowadays when they learn about her think what would have happened if they did catch her. The world will never know but some books say she thought she would have been hung for breaking a lot laws. I don’t agree with her tho, I think they would have whipped her and torture her until she started to talk about her secret plans and her secret places they hid. I honestly don’t think she would talk to them tho. She probably would just blow it off and ignore them. If I was her tho I would have fun with it and tell them random stuff that isn’t true. I would do that so they would stop torturing me and they would never know if I was telling the truth or not. I know I wouldn’t have been able to do half the stuff she did but i'm glad she did what she did. Because she stood up for her kind and tried her hardest to help her family and former slaves. She even helped our country stay together by helping the Union in the Civil War. Harriet was a amazing person and i'm glad to give her this award for her bravery to this
