Harriet is mostly known for he job in the underground railroad saving thousands of slaves. She thinks that through the underground railroad she could have saved many more if they knew that they were slaves. Harriet Tubman help end the civil war by spying on the enemy. While harriet Tubman was a scout she was very good at it because she knew land very well she was able to escort scouts across the land. Harriet Tubman also was a spy in the war which ended up helping to end it . Harriet Tubman also was a nurse during the war she knew basic medical skills which helped her take care of the soldiers if they had gotten wounded.
