Harrah’s Marketing Information System Harrah’s has an excellent marketing system. Harrah’s has created a system called the Total Rewards System. Members that hold reward cards receive points based on how much money is spent each time there card is inserted into a machine. Points are accumulated and can be used to book rooms or eat lunch. This reward system also collects data to help Harrah’s target each customer’s interests. The system advises Harrah’s on what kind of person each customer is and does a Psychographic Segmenting. This segmenting gives them information on what the customer wants and helps them develop those products and capitalize on them. Harrah’s MIS and Harrah’s Managers and Employees
Managers and Employees are responsible for building good relationships with the clients. Harrah’s focuses on what goes on inside the property and provide proper services to customers using their Management Information System. Managers and employees give customers special services for example you may be eligable for a room upgrade upon arrival, free meals, and additional free slot play. Harrah’s knows what their customers need. Managers use the MIS to provide the best customer experience and this is the main reason why the system is so important. Managers also assure that the employees align with the company’s values and opinions.

Compared to others, Harrah’s Entertainment Marketing Information System efforts works so well because it combines its service culture with the brain center of Total Rewards. Harrah’s has important tools to analyze the MIS. After a day of gaming at Harrah’s, the company knows which customers should be rewarded for accumulating points and redeeming them for a wide variety of rewards like IPads and TV’s.
