Dr Harold Shipman is the English serial killer, he worked and lived in England as a medical doctor. He killed over 200 of his patients, however that could have raised into 260 before he was arrested in 1998. He started out in Leeds school of medicine and worked as a physician in the 1970s. Dr Harold Shipman was the middle child born into a working-class family on 14th January 1946, Harold Fredrick Shipman was also known as Fred, short for Fredrick. He was the favourite child from his domineering mother Vera, in his later relationships leaving him an isolated adolescent with few friends his mother was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer.
He saw his mother’s care decline after the morphine taken effect of her, on 21st June 1963 his mother died.
