Not too many people know that it is the real number of people death by smoking in the worldwide. However, smoking makes people feel refreshing, and it makes young people feel that they are grown-up. On the other hand, 480 thousand people death by smoking in the US (cdc). Which means accounts for almost 10 percent, and these numbers still tend to increase in the future. Cigarettes have a huge influence on the lives of us, causing many human diseases such as lung cancer smoking, throat cancer, heart disease,... (cancer). In the huge number of people death by smoking in the US, death by cancer take about 36 percent, 39 percent are from heart disease and stroke, and 24 percent are from lung disease (cancer). In every single cigarettes, they carry a bunch of substances. Nicotine is one of substance will keep smokers addicted to smoking, but there are more than 4,000 chemical toxic substances stand by nicotine that will destroy smoker’s health and others (quitsmokingsupport). People found in a cigarette has around 43 known cancer-causing compound. When smokers taking their first drag of cigarette smoke in lung, it will make they feel comfortable. Nevertheless the harmful of cigarette will not immediately kill smokers, it will take time to absorbed into the body and slowly kill smokers from inside out. The first effects will be starting from the mouth. Smokers will have signs such as bad breath, yellow teeth, and for a long day it will lead to cancers of the mouth, throat (cancer). The effects is not only to the mouth, it also affects to the lung. Coughing is a first sign that the lung tries to clear all of the substances that smokers inhales. Cigarette smoke has a lot chemicals and particles that irritate the airways and lung (cancer). Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a name for long-term lung disease. COPD makes smokers feel hard to breath even when they rest. It usually starts unnoticed in young, and get more worse before it’s diagnosed.
