Lying is done in order to prevent the truth from being found out. Personally, I am a bad liar. Moreover, I don’t like to lie about things because it leaves me with a guilty conscience afterwards. Lying is wrong because it has many dreadful consequences such as losing the trust of another person since you lied to them also it could demolish your relation with that person although there are certain cases in which lying can actually be seen as something exceptional. For example, you might want to lie if you don’t want to hurt someone’s feelings in the event that you know that the truth will hurt their feelings.
