Harm Of Abortion

Imagine never having the chance to make any decisions in your life. Never being able to fall in love, smell the fresh air, feel the warm sunlight on your cheeks, or even decide to live or not. An estimated 125,000 people a day are given no chance for life. This is because we live in a country where it is illegal to harm a bald eagle egg, but it’s okay to kill a baby and sell it’s body parts. During an interview Chris Smith stated, "Since 1973, well over 54 million babies have had abortion forced upon them." In the beginning of 1973 abortion was prohibited in most of the 50 states, but upon a 7-2 court rulings, it became legal January 20th 1973. This was one of the only times the Supreme Court went out of their beyond the jurisdiction of their power. Abortion is also hard on the mother. Abortions can lead to serious health issues such as heavy bleeding, infection, organ damage, severe pain, fever, or even death.
