One thing that I have not only been taught, but have also learned throughout my life is that being a hard worker can get an individual far in life. Work ethic is very important to me, and I believe if I work hard, it will pay off in the long run. This will be especially important for the upcoming four years of many high school seniors.
College is a stressful time for many people, and it can leave you in the dust in the blink of an eye if you don't work hard. Students will be bombarded with vast amounts of homework, student loans, and possibly even a part-time job just to squeak by. All of the struggles and mishaps in college are setting individuals up for success in the future. College is immensely important for ensuring financial stability in one's future.
During college may be stressful, but there are many things that one can do before college starts to lower stress levels in college. Something as simple as a savings account can indeed make a huge difference in the financial stability of one's future. Working a part-time job during high school, or a full time summer job is important in supporting the future bills that college will inevitably produce. There are some things in life that don't always work out. That's why many people either double major in college, or even minor in a different field as well. My plan in college is to double major, and maybe even get a minor degree as well. The more degrees I can get, the greater the chance I will be successful in the future.
