Personal Statement
I consider myself to have been an active and hard working student during my previous educational stages. My interest in chemistry dates back to secondary school, I've been interested in chemistry, Mathematics and Physics, I wanted to pursue a degree that combines all or most of these, so I chose the Mathematical Sciences department and obtained my High School degree with an overall grade of 99.87 %. After that, I continued my studies in the faculty of petroleum and mining engineering at Suez University, where I had the opportunity to be exposed to the full range of chemical engineering courses like chemical engineering basics, unit operations, equipment design and other courses as listed on my transcript. I am good at listening to others and sharing ideas with a flexible mind. I also have good communication skills which enabled me to include contacting with high profile companies outside Egypt like EVOQUA to my current job duties. I see that when it comes to practical tasks, I am a very logical person and good at planning things out, especially in project management. I can meet deadlines and classify my priorities. I am very good at using the Internet to search for specific information and facts.
I am applying to your program for sponsorship, with the intention of getting a master`s degree in chemical process engineering and become employed in a research and development position in the petrochemical and the fertilizer industry. I am currently reading more into the subject of "Chemical Process Engineering " in my spare time, which currently provides a very useful knowledge into some of the challenges facing chemical engineers, from concepts of design to industrial process
