Many processes in the world can be studied and analyzed; everything is a process in one way or another. One system that might not be considered a “process” at first glance, but which operates as one, is the education system. If you consider graduation rates, literacy rates, and the general intelligence of an educated populace as the variables being tested, one could determine if the education system is in control or reliable. We originally wanted to perform this study to compare the American education system process with the education processes of other countries. This topic’s appeal stems from America’s failing education system in contrast to other countries which have perennially superior education systems.
However, while it is clear the education system is indeed a process, attempting to analyze it came with some hardships. Regarding the other hard drives sold, the average cost per gigabyte differs greatly between the brands due to the difference in products offered. These costs are included below and show the costs differences across firms. Strangely enough, the cost per gigabyte and the annualized failure rate by brand do not have a strong correlation.
