Growing up around anti-gay or anti transgender families, and watching television shows that being transgender is wrong gives students a different view of others. Judging someone by the way they act is totally wrong, but some students don 't look at it that way because of their "rep" trying to keep up with popularity. So hitting someone or sexually assaulting them may be cool in their eyes. Students may not understand the term of needing someone they hurt, but farther in life the victim may be the one to help them. So students and teachers needs to learn to never judge a book by its cover because it 's what inside that matters. Once a transgender student has been a victim of violence they can then turn into the violent person. A person can only take so much before they explode. Transgender students are tired of being picked on and having a life filled with loneliness, fear and self-hatred.
