“Happy Birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Marley, happy birthday to you!” everyone in her family sings to her on her birthday. She has just turned 19. She smiles and thanks her family for the cake and presents. She then begins socializing with them. “I love you honey, we are so proud of you for everything,” her mom says to her as she hugs her. Tears stream from her mom's eyes as Marley begins smiling wide. Marley has always been the perfect daughter. Her family has had endless reasons to be proud of her ever since the day she was born. She always goes above and beyond with everything she does. She has the kindest heart. The school they all attended was entitled Donald Lee High. Dondre was a pretty average student and kept with a small group of friends. He was fairly decent at lacrosse and that is how most people knew him. The way he became caught up in all of this horror, was that he was madly in love with the boy that Lily was dating. Conrad Login was his name. For whatever reason, him and Marley decided that the best option is to kill Lily, because that means they would get what they want. The issue was that Conrad is straight, so nothing benefited Dondre in the long run, and he was the one who actually pulled the trigger. Marley being caught up in a murder would surely get her kicked out of high school, let alone ever being able to attend college for many decades. Both Marley and Dondre had no chance of achieving what they wanted after committing murder, but that didn’t stop them. As we return back to the bar scene, Dondre is ordering a drink for himself.
