Happy Birthday Message

Hey. Happy birthday! I hope you 've been having a great summer so far and it 'll be even better after your 17th! I kinda miss you and I 'm still hoping to get a text from you someday saying that we can give it another shot or start over but I 'm not expecting it. I really regret what I did. Everyday I regret it. I wish it didn 't happen. Good luck at GHP and with your subject SATs, and I already know you got a 5 on all your AP exams! I have no doubt that you will get a 5 on the national exams. I have complete faith in you. In the unlikely event that you don 't get a 5 just know that it 's okay and you shouldn 't stress.... Because it 'll be a 4 and that 's still pretty damn good. You are an amazing student (based on what I know) and this won 't define how good of a student you actually are. …show more content…
I still miss you, but hopefully you 're feeling better and happy because I 've been busting my butt trying not to bother you (still haven 't been doing a good job). It 's been kinda hard to keep myself up and happy, but if you 're good, then that 's perfect. I believe you have every right in the world to say what you say and do what you do, but if something like this ever happens to you again (hopefully not) and you can see that the person cares and is trying to help out, just be a little less harsh because it can really just hurt and ache for a while. For some reason, every freaking song on the radio is sad which doesn 't help at all haha. You 're still a good person, and I hope you 're not thinking poorly of yourself. Don 't let the little things define you, and keep your head up. Never be ashamed of anything because life goes on and you can only build on the person you are. No one is perfect and life isn 't perfect, but we always have the capacity and capability to see people and situations in a better light and with optimism. This is all severely cheesy af, but we are all unique and that 's what makes every single one of us amazing and beautiful (except the

If I get an “B-” instead of that elusive “A+,” I will be fine. I’m not who I used to be and now understanding slowly is more important to me. My grades will reflect what I actually learn. After almost one-hundred and eighty days, the 2015-2016 school year is approaching an end. So far, I have concluded that middle school is basically like building a house. Before middle school started, in fifth grade, the house only had the boards and the main skeleton of the whole structure. All of the basics are learned in elementary school: learning how to read, multiplication, division, addition, subtraction, fractions, the founding of America,, etcetera, but by the time students reach sixth grade, new knowledge builds onto what is already known. Letters are added into the familiar math equations; stories are written with all of the reading and grammar knowledge; unfamiliar people, wars, and awakenings add onto the history of America.…

I miss you and the others at home awfully, but the tedious past two years of battle have been in our favor, so at least my absence has been of some aid to the Confederacy. Life back at the plantation seems like a dream when you live as a soldier. Working on the vile-smelling fields with our slaves for hours upon hours will always appeal more to me than the copious hours of marching and drilling the generals put us through; the aching of my feet after every practice burns more than my throbbing fingers ever did. All of the pain endured because of my service cannot compare to the agony of being away from home so long. Calling what I feel “homesickness” would be a complete understatement.…

At 38 degrees latitude north and 92 longitude west, lies the rural farming town of California, Missouri. This town is rich in cornfields, small businesses, and many churches of all denominations. From the quiet fields, to the busy town square this city is home to 4,341 people. What I believe makes California stand out from the other towns is that it has the “oldest continuously operating fair west of the Mississippi” (Kunze). But the thing that impacts me most about this town is the California High School, it’s staff, and the students.…

The Do’s and Dont’s of High School A Self-Evaluation on My High School Career High school is a time that many students dream about throughout their scholastic careers. It is a time described in the movies as social, fun, and memorable. I remember being told in middle school, eighth grade mainly, about how important it was to stay motivated in high school, and keep up with your school work along with all of the other activities and fun events that go on. In middle school I managed to keep a 4.0 GPA and was good about getting my work in on time, which honestly isn’t too difficult in those years anyway.…
