One’s life is centered around emotions, and they play a significant part in our interactions with one another. A person’s emotions are what causes someone to cry when sad or to laugh when something is funny. Humans are taught that happiness is extremely important and that it is one of the only emotions that people should strive to have. The idea of happiness is everywhere and in everything. Everyday a person will come in contact with something or someone that promotes being happy and that happiness is the only thing needed in life. There are signs and sayings everywhere telling someone to “Be Happy” or to “Smile”, but a person will never see a sign that says “Be Mad” or “Cry.” Although, happiness is important, emotions like fear and sadness are also just as important if not more important.
