Every week my parents would force me to go to church and classes but I never liked it or really even knew if I believed in it, I struggled a lot with my beliefs and realized that I can't believe in something that I couldn't see. My Grandparents continued to pursue me into going to church with them on holidays or even a couple times a month but each time I would listen I never felt God's love. By my peers opening up about their own struggles and seeing their purpose in God's path made me look back at my life and realize how much of an impact God had on my life. Since my first Antioch, I have participated as a leader for the past two years as its been equally as rewarding opening up my heart to others and changing their lives, like they did mine. The decision to go back to church and allowing myself to believe in something greater has been the best decision of my life, I now know my struggles are just bumps on the path to true

Despite their correlation with one another, there is a distinct difference between the concepts of happiness and meaningfulness. Parents often declare “I only want my children to be happy.” It would be unusual to hear a parent say, “I only want my children to be meaningful.” When it comes to others, people often work selflessly to make them happy, but when the individual self is addressed, one would rather live a meaningful life. We fear life without meaning.…
