Hans Zimmer is known for recording music for over 150 films, including The Lion King, Pirates of the Caribbean series, The Last Samurai, and Interstellar. He started out using keyboards and synthesizers and was briefly in a The Buggles’ music video, “Video Killed the Radio Star”, which was the beginning of his career. He went on to other bands, playing the keyboard, bands such as The Damned, where he helped produce an album called the Black Album where his efforts were described as over-produced. He also produced the theme song for the game show, ‘Going for Gold’ which helped him pay rent and he described it as lots of fun.
