The person that I decided to do my moral research paper on is Hannah P. (my wife’s best friends daughter). She is a 17-year-old Latina girl who comes from a family middle class family; furthermore, the parents have been divorced for about seven years but her father still plays a big part of her life. He spends quality time with her and her older brother Sam, who is 18-years-old. Both parents are very catholic and they have instilled their religious beliefs in their children as they raised them. Hannah’s mother is a Nurse Practitioner now but she has worked as a nurse for over 20 years and her father has worked as a Correctional Officer for over 20 years. They live in, Rosedale, the north west side of Bakersfield, which is a suburban area. Hannah is the baby of the two kids and she is high strung. Although her mother is a authoritative type parent, which is good, Hannah does show some signs of ADHD and, at times, has gotten in trouble at school. Her grades are on average D’s and C’s and in fourth grade, after the divorce, she ended up getting in a few fights. All-around though, I’ve known Hannah for over four years and she is a really kind and sweet kid, a little hyper and naïve, but a good kid.
