Summary: In the book, 13 Reasons Why, you hear about the life of Hannah Baker and why it ended how it did and while she was still a young girl. Before Hannah decides to take her life, she records a series of tapes and passes them around to people who are the reasons why she took her life. As each person receives the tapes that Hannah recorded and realize that they are the reasons why she killed herself, there all seems to be problems between them. Some of the people recorded on the tapes don’t own up to what they did, they act like it never happened.

The main spot of the story though was at school, it was where all of the cases happened about how Hannah was bullied and what they could do about it. It was where Clay tried to listen to most of the tapes without getting caught. There were many people at the school who knew what Clay was doing, but the teachers, Hannah’s parents, and many other families were oblivious to knowing that there were tapes and that Clay was listening to them. This story takes place in our time, these people are kids our age and are going through …show more content…
It is my favorite book because it has such a good story behind it and is great in detail. My favorite part was when Clay overcomes his fear of listening to tapes and finishes them as strong as he can. My least favorite part was having to see Clay struggle when he received the tapes and none the less found out that he was one of the reasons why Hannah Baker took her life. I wouldn’t change anything in the book if I could because I thought that it was good how it was written and had a great story. If I had the chance, I would definitely recommend this book to many people. Any teen would enjoy this book because it is basically what is happening in our world now, all of the bullying in schools is making people to take their lives. I personally think that the book is better than the

I also really liked this book, because of how perfectly crafted the characters were and the plot and events of the story. Every detail had a purpose. Atticus' age, Scout's description of her town, the last scene of the book, with Scout recalling the Grey Ghost which Atticus had just read aloud to her. Every character and setting and event perfectly fit into her story and lessons she taught within them.…
