A small company starting out in a family home from another country and being brought to the United States had many chances of failure and disappointment. Instead, it became a very well managed business that prospers and excels to many levels throughout many years. It is a children’s clothing company called Gun’s and was started by a husband and wife who named it after a loved grandmother. The company has made millions of dollars and has hundreds of employees and has now become the Hanna Andersson Corporation. Demonstrating business management by producing great leaders is an important decision for the company’s success to lead a company into its future. This also demonstrates how the employers are the backbone of the company when it is being managed with understanding and respect and needs of all are met to perform their job duties. …show more content…
Clothes that are returned are given twenty percent off the customer’s next purchase. This started up the HannaDowns store was established and became charitable. This store produced a service and financial support that is given back to the community. The money is given for schools, grants, and nonprofit organizations. By having a successful management plan, they found a way to give back to the people. The owners knew they needed to grow to keep up with the competitors so they did not resist to change. They made a management decision to hire a CEO within the company to lead them into the future. They then can send in leaders go to sit in meetings with the employees and listen to what their concerns are due to the workloads. They didn’t want the new changes to cause overwhelming stress so they would break down the workloads. They valued their employees and this made a successful running company to excel into a productive and lucrative business for
