I understand your point. I feel schools need to stick with the basics. You can not replace the art of handwritting, and a good book. Today, I am concerned about the amount of technology kids are exposed to. I believe all the technology advancements have made the youth of today lazy, and lacking in social skills. Today, kids are locked away in their bedrooms on computers or cell phones, when they should be outside playing and making friends. You hardly ever see a kid on a bicycle anymore. Technolgy is great, but it should be monitored.
