Simple but important practices like frequent handwashing, covering mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing, isolation when diagnosed with a communicable disease are a few responsible actions one can take or do to keep their neighbors and the community healthy. In addition to prevent the spread of airborne diseases parents should their children the importance of covering their mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing. Going a bit further, social norms should be taught in school and hopefully ingrained in young minds. Another measure that could be implemented is mandatory etiquette classes from pre-school thru high school, which hopefully would result in people been more aware of actions that are socially acceptable.
