The production of Handle with Care helps me to understand active audiences because even though the audience in that show may not actively participate they are moving along with the show. Passive audience is an audience that just watches the show progress while always being separated from the stage. Whereas with the audience in Handle with Care they moved with the show to different places and floors as the main character grew up and her storyline progresses, like they were someone in Chloe’s life. In my opinion, the use of this kind of setting for this show was to make the audience feel a part of the characters’ journey and to relate it to where they were in their life whether it was Chloe’s younger or older years. By having no visible barrier
