Hamlin had applied a theory that infants evaluate others basis on the social behavior. To confirm the theory, the psychologists had used three different experiments methods. The first experiment focused on pushing uphill or downhill attaching the eyes on the piece of wood and placed it on the bottom of the hill, which the infants witness the circle one needs help to get up the hill. It was shown to them how the triangle helps the circle to go up the hill and the square hinders the circle down the hill. At end of trial, the infants were given a choice, which one has better morality. The results proclaim that infants chose the triangle over the square.
