Hamlet's Transformation Essay

Hamlet,one of the most interesting characters in the play Hamlet by William Shakespeare. The protagonist is confronting dilemmas and enduring egregious judgment and pain throughout the play. As the tragic hero, Hamlet is portrayed as a person who has the guts to do it and take the consequences which caused him getting affected and surprised easily by the things around him. Hamlet’s transformation and adaptation about life, death and loss have an enormous change throughout the play. The murder of Hamlet’s father and his mother’s remarriage with his uncle happened before the opening of the play which implies that Hamlet is confronting the unchangeable facts and being mad at the beginning. Constant suspicions about the death of his father and incapable vent his own emotions about Gertrude’s hasty marriage. Hamlet starts to respect his own life and accept that death is inevitable. When Hamlet express: “Since no man has aught of what he leaves, what is't to leave betimes? Let be” (Shakespeare V ii 224-225). This is the moment Hamlet accepted his fate and death is part of the life, he demonstrated and believed that people do not know when death will come, but when it does, “let it be” and let it happen. This is when Hamlet becomes the tragic hero in the play and start to save himself, his family and his country. It also foreshadows that there will be a tragedy happen on Hamlet. Hamlet is able to adapt any situations around him because he is no longer afraid of death and accept falsities in his life. The play portrays Hamlet into a tragic hero at the end of the play, a hero with madness without lack of sanity, his sanity is commanding the actions and his madness is accomplishing his desires. At the end of the play, when Hamlet speaks: O, I die,
