At what point does the movies push the play's context to far? The play written by Shakespeare, and the basic premises the son is the next rulely king. But his uncle is convinced he is the one who needs to take his brothers place.

Hamlet and The Lion King are similar because, the storyline of The Lion King is based off of Hamlet.Hamlet’s father has just passed, when his devious uncle steps into his place as king.“But two months dead—nay, not so much, not two” (1.2.139-146)The quote is referencing the time of Hamlet's father, and how fast his mother is moving on.
