In Shakespeare’s Hamlet, there are several characters that seek revenge when someone they loved are wronged. Love is the driving force behind Hamlet, Laertes and Ophelia’s plots of revenge. When someone chooses to wrong someone you love, your first reaction is to seek revenge. This is what happened to Hamlet after he sought to avenge his father’s death. “Haste me to know't, that I, with wings as swift. As meditation or the thoughts of love.
