The scene in Hamlet that I choose to focus on is act five scene two. We finally make it to the end of Hamlet. With a lot going down in the final scene. We get to Ophelia's burial were Laertes and Hamlet get into a fight. Hamlet believes he loved Ophelia more than her brother did. Hamlet resolves to Horatio how he prevented his death. Which was planned for him in England and had Rosencrantz and Guildenstern put to death instead. Gertrude drinks from a poisoned cup meant for Hamlet and dies. Hamlet and Laertes duel it out with Hamlet getting stabbed and positioned in the third round. While exchanging swords Hamlet wounds and poisons Parties. Then Hamlet stabs Claudius with the same sword killing him as well. While dying Hamlet tells Horatio not to commit suicide and tell his story. Hamlet also suggests that Young fortinbras should be the next King of Denmark. In the meantime Young FOrtinbras arrives cleaning up the mess. Horatio makes a promise to tell everyone what he saw ending the play. “O, I die, Horatio! The potent poison quite o'er crows my spirit. I cannot live to hear the news from England. The beginning of the play was straightforward with the plot being a revenge tragedy. Having each of the main characters killed off did not come as a surprise to me. When Hamlet finally killed Claudius that was the cherry on top of the ice cream. It was waited upon for such a long time, I did not think he was ever going to do it. Hamlet is also one of those characters that are hard to figure out. Throughout the entire play he was all over the place. One minute he is charming the next he is wacky it was hard for me to figure him out. When all's said and done the play was simple and easy to
