The first found disorder was schizophrenia. With the speaking to a ghost figure and being told to pursue certain actions came to this conclusion. “O gentle son, upon the heat and the flame of thy distemper sprinkle cool patience! Whereon do you look”(III, iv, 139-141)! This was said by Gertrude to Hamlet when referring to the ghost he was speaking to. In the conversation between Hamlet and the ghost, the ghost proclaimed that Hamlet get the job done and murder Claudius already. They’re are usually unable to filter sensory stimuli for which may contain enhanced perceptions of sounds or colors. The second disorder that Hamlet suffered from was bipolar disorder.
