Hamlet, the prince of Denmark is still healing from the lost of his father and the betrayal of his mother’s new marriage. After appearing to his guards, Hamlet’s father’s ghost appears to him and tells him his mother’s new husband, Claudius murdered him. Already in disgust over the fact that his mother married his father’s brother, Hamlet has no problem seeking revenge. Hamlet concocted a plan to pretend to be crazy. This was his way of finding out the truth behind his father’s death without being seen as a threat. Hamlet knew if he confronted or told his uncle about his encounter with his father’s ghost that he would become a threat and probably be exiled or executed.
