We live in illusion and the appearance of things. There is a reality. We are that reality. When you understand this, you see that you are nothing, and being nothing, you are everything. That is all - Kālu Rinpoche. The book Hamlet written by Shakespeare, appearance vs reality is something most characters struggle with. Hamlet, Polonius, Claudius and Gertrude all seem to appear a certain way yet as you read on you can see the reality of it all. In Hamlet people appear to be one way but in reality can be something so different.

If it will please you to show us so gentry and good will as to spend your time with us awhile for the supply and profit of our hope, your visitation shall receive such thanks as fits a king's remembrance."(I.ii.19 - 26). Rosencrantz and Guildenstern say "Both your majesties Might, by the sovereign power you have of us, put your dread pleasures more into command Than to entreaty" (II.ii.27 - 29) "But we both obey and here give up ourselves, in the full bent, to lay our service freely at your feet to be commanded."
