Khan,Q.,Bughio Ali,F. (2012), Nunnery scene: a pragmatic analysis of hamlet-ophelia encounter.
The Southeast Asian Journal of English Language Studies, 12, 25-34.
The author discusses the nunnery scene by taking us deep in detail of Hamlet’s verbal display towards Ophelia. In this article, Hamlet‘s emotions and feeling are explained to us in the approach to the reality of real life. Khan and Bughio indicates to their audience that the conversation between Hamlet and Ophelia is equally crucial for King Claudius and is the main reason why Hamlet acted in such a way towards Ophelia in the middle of the play. However, Khan and Bughio explains Hamlet’s reaction to Ophelia as an understanding of a normal human interaction.
