Hamlet Act 3 Scene 4 Analysis

In the novel, Act Three, Scene Four, is the scene where Hamlet goes up into his mother's chamber because she has requested to see him. Polonius is up there also but when Hamlet comes he hides from him. Hamlet hears him and stabs into the arras Polonius has hidden behind, killing him. When Ophelia finds out that her father has died, by the one she thought she loved. She goes mad with grief. She then goes around, looking wild, her hair's a mess, her dress dirty, no shoes on, carrying a basket full of flowers. She skips around while singing and hands out flowers she has picked from outside.
