There are many candidates that are either Jeffersonian or Hamiltonian, some of these include Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton, and Bernie Sanders. Donald Trump would be seen as Hamiltonian. This is due to his radical way of thinking, wanting to remove all of the immigrants in the US, this follows the Hamilton ideal of loosely following the constitution. On the other hand, Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders would both be Jeffersonian. Clinton would be Jeffersonian due to her position in the current presidency as Secretary of State, but she also wants to improve the health care system already in place and she feels that immigrants should be able to gain citizenship.
