"Know Thyself," the mission statement of Hamilton College flawlessly expresses what high school seniors struggle with. Where are we supposed to be during the next four years of our lives, the years dedicated to "finding ourselves?" The first three years of high school, I thought I knew who I was, who I am meant to be. But as I began my search for the "perfect" college, I realized that I had no idea what I wanted. I was able to surmise that I wanted an environment where I could find grow intellectually, embrace the world, and find myself. Hamilton College fit the bill; all of my very specific elements are satisfied by this small, yet expansive school. The college's promises reflect exactly what I was looking for when researching colleges. Hamilton
