There are more than 180 types of hallucinogenic mushrooms or magic mushrooms in the world. They grow pretty much eveywhere, you can find more varieties in subtropical and humid areas. You can even easily grow them at home. They contain two drug substances psilocin and psilocybin these produce a psychedelic experience as would LSD. Golden cap or psilocybe cubensis, Mexican mushroom is one of the biggest hallucinogenic mushrooms. You can identify it by its reddish-brown cap, white or yellowish stem. They grow in cattle manure and moist climates. The liberty bell, which is not to be confused with the liberty cap, which is much weaker, is another hallucinogenic and grows in grassy damp fields, where animals spend their time. This mushroom is small with light brown or yellow cap with a fine point. The hallucinogenic compounds that these mushrooms contain are; Conocybe, Copelandia, Galerina, Gymnopilus, Inocybe, Mycena, and pluteus. Consuming hallucinogenic mushrooms does not make you hallucinate but it distorts your peerception. Many users describe things like seeing sound and hearing colors. But it can also cause nausea, dizziness, muscle weakness, and numbness. Psilocybin mushrooms are considereda schedule 1 drug under the Psychotropic Substance Abuse Act. They have a high abuse potential with no accepted medical use. Mushrooms are hard to over dose on and like previously mentioned you can grow them at home. But that does not mean it is okay to do, it is still illegal to posess any hallucinogenic mushroom or spore with the intent of growing psychedelic shrooms in the United
