It used to be my favorite holiday, until this little incident occurred. Since I loved this holiday, I tried to make the most out of my day. Vivian and I had no idea what to do at the time. We were bored out of our minds. She suggested that we a scary movie to get more into the Halloween spirit. We surfed the channels to see what was on T.V. at the moment. Halloween with Michael Myers was on. Surprisingly, my ten year old self has not seen a scary movie yet. Since I have never seen a scary movie, I was extremely anxious to watch this one. I was afraid I was going to be too scared

Halloween is like a horror movie, except with drunk teenagers instead of axe murders. It was about two years ago, when we were still living in Germany. It was a fairly peaceful Halloween night and the sun was about to set. My friends and I were walking around the village, what Germans call a town. After about half an hour of us walking around and talking, some acne filled, tall, muscular and older, German teenagers came up to us.…

As I passed through downtown Atlanta, I couldn't help admire the home of the Braves, not just because it was an architectural wonder but because it brought back to mind that very first lesson when Professor Van Huevelen sparked my curiosity when he said we find that there are some things in this world that are repeatable. Repeatable. Repeatable. So a baseball pitcher, if he throws a ball with the same speed and in the same direction, spinning the ball the same, it'll end up going about the same place.…

The author doesn’t comprehend why there are parents who allow their children to participate in these kinds of events. The author then proceeds to assert that she doesn’t “get Halloween, ..the celebration, ..the pumpkins” and overall the “creepy ghostly” features on houses. The adoption of repetition is to prompt the idea to the audience that the whole celebration is chaotic to her and shows the reason why she has written this article. Moreover, the comment attached was written by another parent, Ellie, conveys an opposite point of views from Warren’s. Ellie informs in a relaxed tone that she views Halloween as a “street party” as the other parents are able to “chat, ..meet now neighbours” and the “kids (are able to) get some excitement” during this event.…

For many people Christmas is an important holiday. By the time it hits September angel decorations start filling the store aisles and “Jingle Bells” plays on repeat but it is not the only one filling up the store. Ghouls, candy, and spiders all crouch on the side waiting for Halloween; a holiday that some look over when it does get to September, although they should not. Halloween is a major holiday that is more exciting than Christmas in terms of history, traditions, and in lower expenses.…

This letter goes to you to persuade you or at least for something to pass through your mind. Hello, I would like to take the time to talk to you. You might read the title and say "What does the school facility, students, and its functioning have to do with Halloween?", well as we have a day on campus were students are allowed to wear any costume they want (as long as it follows the administrations guidelines) on the last days of October. While you have fair, well suited guidelines already in play on those special days, I would like you to consider adding another significant one. We all know America as melting pot ,but in fact its not its more a tossed salad to be more precise. Do you think students should have their full week off for Thanksgiving? Well I know I do and my plan is in this essay is to show you why we should have our full weekend for Thanksgiving.
