There was different colors of paints and glitters to choose from, there was also different pipe cleaners, stickers, and other objects you could use to put onto your pumpkin. I also enjoyed that UNCG provides these small events to anyone here on campus. Especially, for someone like me that lives off campus and misses out on the larger events. My least favorite part, if you have not noticed so far, was that the pumpkins, unfortunately, were not real. But I realized that the possibility of having enough real pumpkins for that massive number of people would not be financial capable.
I would not attend this event by myself again. I would, however, go back if either my roommate and or classmate would go with me. I feel as though I would not have focused as much on the small negative things and more on the overall positive the staff members and other students had for the event. I believe, with another person, I would have used the photo booth and the games systems.
As stated earlier, the UNCG staff members and other students are doing everything they can possible to make this school feel more of a home than a place of education; to makes us find some ray of sunshine in these stressful times.
