Halloween Descriptive Writing

The Night of Halloween Smudging on the last of the oily paint to her face, she slipped on her vibrant orange pumpkin costume and placed the viney green on her head. As she collected her pail that she would place her candy in. She ran down the grainy wood steps and yelled for her mom. Her mom soon appeared by the stairwell and opened the cold doorknob and let her out the door. When her feet hit the grey hard pavement she was disoriented as she was walking. She soon found a house in the midst of the pathway. As she was looking at her pail and at the house she knew what she had to do. Her feet started to move towards the house as she felt the rush of adrenaline and the state of fear that she would have to talk. Just as she walked up to the door a lady ran out the door with a smile and a huge bowl of candy. She thought my pail needs to be full as she took the courage to talk to her she said ”Trick or Treat smell my feet give me something good to eat! ”. As more and more boys were dropping she thought how many more as she peered behind her shoulder she only saw one boy the alpha male. He yelled I will get you and you will be sorry . As they kept running he started falling way behind. As the boy knew this he tried to bribe her with candy. She knew in her mind that it was just a trick with her clever trick she darted around a house, through an alley way, and through the community pumpkin patch by her house. As she lost him she ran into her house with her bag of candy and tired legs.
