In an article entitled “How Much Does Halloween Cost?” on the Time For Kids website, I read that the united states is spending $8.4 billion on Halloween so far this year. The average amount of money a person will spend this year is $82.93 on Halloween candy, costumes and parties, but last year the average was $74.34, which is a percentage of 22% more this year. The reason why spending is increasing is that more people are celebrating Halloween because it has become more popular in the united states People have been spending money on costumes, candy, and parties.
