1: The Path to Physician-ship Volunteering for the past four years at my local hospital, my experience aiding the residents consolidated my dream of becoming a doctor. Acceptance into the Robert and Ellen Salant Pre-Health Program at NYU’s College of Arts and Sciences is an unparalleled opportunity for me to jump-start my path to becoming a physician. I know that NYU’s pre-professional medical program would provide me with the academic rigor with classes like Principles of Biology, General Physics, and Organic Chemistry. Under the guidance of NYU’s pre-health advisor, I know that my personal strengths, career aspirations, and undergraduate pursuits could be utilized so that I become a well-rounded candidate for medical school. Not only that, the pre-medicine program encourages its participants to pursue a major we feel heartfelt toward. For me, that’s politics.
