During my summer of 2016 I had the opportunity to be part of a community service project called "Half-A-Date". This programs wholes focus simply revolves around the concept of "Giving Back", whether that be through feeding the homeless or just having a conversation about there day the main focus was to make someone healthier and happier then when they came in. I was involved by being able to make, prepare and serve meals to those who couldn't afford or get access to them. Simply seeing the smile of someone receiving food and knowing that i'm fortunate enough to be part of a program that helps someones quality of life improve gave me such a blessed and rewarding feeling that I simply cant explain.
